I studied the Live Oak Bank Headquarters by LS3P Architects as a precedent in preparation for designing a library in Springdale. I created a series of diagrams to analyze the design, focusing on the use of wood as a structural system and how its successes could be gleaned from for my own design. The topics focused on were foundation, structural components, structural dimensions, structural system, the treatment of the structure at the floor, and the treatment of the structure at the roof.
